Stage 3 ends in Cookstown with Laverack victorious after 92.3 mile battle

Sunday’s stage 3 of the AmberGreen Energy Tour of Ulster got off to a great start after Saturday’s washout in Co Down which resulted in the stage being postponed.

The teams battled it out for the pink jersey yet again as they raced from Newry to Cookstown with crowds cheering along the roadsides as they sped through towns and villages. It was Edward Laverack (Cheshire JLT Condor) fought the battle hard to win the Homecare Independent Living sponsored stage 3 which finished on Cookstown.

Intensive livestock veterinary practice gets Q Cells Amber Green solar PV system

A veterinary practice and wholesaler which relies heavily on refrigeration systems to keep stock cool, said after long and hard deliberations, it has decided to invest in solar panels.

Northern Ireland based Mossvet has had a 20kW Q-Cell flat roof Hilti solar PV system installed at its Portadown site by the team at AmberGreen Energy to drive down its £3,000 annual electricity bill.
