BUDGET 2013: Zero carbon construction company welcomes Chancellor’s Help To Buy Scheme

Chancellor George Osborne has announced the Help To Buy Scheme to open up the housing market to thousands of would-be home owners.

The Help to Buy scheme is aimed to help those people struggling to find mortgage deposits. The initiative will include £3.5 billion for shared equity loans and a Government interest-free loan worth 20 per cent of the value of a new-build house. Green Future NI says this is a step in the right direction.

Zero carbon house sees Green Future shortlisted for ‘Sustainable Development of the Year’

Green Future NI has been shortlisted for the ‘Sustainable Development of the Year’ award at this year’s Housing Awards in Belfast.

Green Future NI created the innovative ‘Green Future House’ in Middletown in Co Armagh which not only meets the Government’s required transition to mass construction of new ‘zero carbon homes’ by 2016 but the house exceeds the Government’s targets.
