Nothing gets in the way of a good birthday bash at Uluru – #OneMoreMonth

Last week we had a funny conversation with a customer who is a regular at Uluru. He was giving me a hard time because I had told him we were closing on Christmas Eve to spend January planning for our big move to Emersons.

Tom told me that for five years now he has been celebrating his birthday at Uluru with friends and family because they love our cooking style and hospitality. He was also giving me a bit of stick that if we closed the restaurant in January that we would be causing a blip in his annual birthday bash plans at Uluru.

Tom knows we are perfectionists. He understood when I told him we would be putting our efforts into staff training, equipment testing and making sure our decor was just right in our new location but the stick kept coming.

So Tom suggested we think about the Capricorns and the Aquarians among us and stay open for ‘one more month’. I openly admit I wasn’t really taking him seriously at the time but we sat down as a team and thrashed it out. So, thanks to Tom standing up for fellow January babies, we have decided to open for #OneMoreMonth.

You, our customers, mean the world to us so rather than close we have re-jigged our schedules so our team will continue to serve you through the month of January. Where there’s a will there’s a way and Tom has certainly got his way on this one.

So our opening times will remain the same – Tuesday to Saturday 12-3pm for lunch and Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm til late for dinner. We will continue to serve our popular pre-theatre  two course meals from 5pm-6.45pm at £16.95.

If you are like Tom and have your birthday in January – don’t miss out. Our doors are open.
