Independent supermarket launches new foundation to transform the community

AN independent supermarket has launched it’s own foundation in order to donate money which will help transform the community.

Emerson’s Supermarket, a 125-year-old supermarket, has created The Emerson’s Foundation which will directly benefit people living and working in the area through charitable donations. The foundation was launched today in conjunction with Uluru Bar & Grill to highlight the positive contributions both businesses make in the community.

Independent supermarket takes the lead to support struggling dairy farmers

A family run independent supermarket is leading the way in offering practical support to dairy farmers struggling during the current crisis.

Emerson’s Supermarket in Armagh will donate 10p to Rural Support for every two litres of Dale Farm milk bought in store. The move has been welcomed by Ian Marshall, President of the Ulster Farmers’ Union and by Jude McCann from Cookstown based Rural Support which offers a support service to farming families.
