Emerson’s announce home delivery service to support elderly and vulnerable

EMERSON’S Supermarket boss, Gavin Emerson, has announced a new home delivery service to ensure basic necessities get to local elderly and vulnerable customers during lockdown.

The supermarket has been inundated with calls from concerned relatives living as far away as Belfast who wanted reassurance there’s something locally in place to support elderly relatives living in the Armagh area.

Gavin Emerson, owner of Emerson’s Supermarket, has had to shut his restaurant Uluru Bar & Grill, but has commended his team for their huge efforts in spite of three weeks of enforced lockdown.

INTO to urge principals to make NI classrooms menopause friendly

Principals across Northern Ireland will be urged today to make schools and classrooms more menopause friendly in order to support teachers and help prevent them leaving their professions.

A motion will call on the INTO at the 152nd Northern Conference to negotiate with employers on a range of measures including putting in place an agreed policy on supporting menopause in classrooms.
