I was one of the consultants appointed to implement County Wicklow’s food and beverage strategy.

PR agency MGMPR Ltd team up with Tour of Ulster to ramp up coverage

The Tour of Ulster cycle race took place in May 2015. Almost 150 cyclists from across the globe gathered to fight for the coveted pink jersey again.

The event was organised by Garry Nugent of BGN Management who worked tirelessly to ensure the race was a huge success.

In order to ramp up the coverage, MGMPR Ltd was asked to get on board to ensure the race gained regional and national coverage which we were delighted to have achieved.

Our story on Niddocks discussed in the House of Commons as MPs quiz Minister Ed Vaizey

It’s not every day a UK Minister picks up a story and talks about it in the House of Commons but this is exactly what happened with one of ours.

Minister Ed Vaizey was being quizzed by MPs on the status of broadband speeds in the UK. The Minister referred to our story stating he had read about Niddocks in Cornwall who said broadband speeds in Cornwall and faster than in the Silicon Valley. The story gained widespread coverage in print, on broadcast and on digital.
