Top quality forage proves king of the crop as New Zealand’s farmers reseed with quality grasses

Reseeding is a key component to increasing meat and milk production from grazed grass, according to a leading seed production company.

Reseeded swards produce greater quantities of herbage, particularly in the early spring and late autumn and winter. Eleanor McGillie talks to David Little of Co Down based Samuel McCausland Ltd about seeding practices in New Zealand which will benefit farmers in Northern Ireland.
