iCare raises money throughout the year so it can grant iCare Wishes to people in the communities in which it operates. Roxanne Mallon is a 29-year-old woman who is battling with breast cancer. Every quarter, the iCare charity asks people in the community to nominate someone who they would like to grant a wish to.
The charity, set up by Homecare Independent Living in 2010 and which is run by a team of volunteers, grants wishes to people who are in need. The next round of nominations is now open but entries close on October 31.
