Woman fighting breast cancer says charity reminded her ‘it’s good to be alive’

Ireland’s leading homecare provider Homecare Independent Living set up the iCare charity in 2010.

iCare raises money throughout the year so it can grant iCare Wishes to people in the communities in which it operates. Roxanne Mallon is a 29-year-old woman who is battling with breast cancer. Daughter’s love for mum shines as cherry blossom tree iCare Wish comes true

Every quarter, the iCare charity asks people in the community to nominate someone who they would like to grant a wish to.

The charity, set up by Homecare Independent Living in 2010 and which is run by a team of volunteers, grants wishes to people who are in need. The next round of nominations is now open but entries close on October 31.
