Over 400 investors raising over £500,000 – Skunkworks rides the wave for growth

TWO brothers who are manufacturing what are believed to be the most robust and eco friendly surfboards in the world have raised over £500,000 from investors from across the globe in the next stage in the Skunkworks Surf Co journey.

The Crowdcube campaign, which was launched by the Coleraine based manufacturer, has now officially closed with 426 investors joining the Skunkworks Surfboard Co team and raising a total of £504,890. Click to share:

Skunkworks Surf Co ride Crowdcube wave to revolutionise surf industry

SKUNKWORKS surfing siblings who made the headlines globally in 2016 for their revolutionary design surfboards have hit their first target of £350,000 on day one in a Crowdcube campaign and are now on a mission to reach their final target of £600,000.

Siblings and surfboards – Skunkworks brothers to speak at Family Business Forum

THERE are lots of projects happening at Skunkworks Surf Co right now but Ricky and Chris Martin will be taking time out of the factory to join a panel of business people to speak at the next NI Family Business Forum.

On April 24, the two surfing brothers who are revolutionising the surfboard industry, will speak to an audience at ‘Meet The Family – The Chairmen of the Board’ at the Europa Hotel. Next week however, these guys are announcing something pretty spectacular.

SkunkWorks Surf Co work with Jaguar Land Rover to launch surfboard

SkunkWorks Surf Co which manufactures 100 per cent recyclable surfboards have taken their work to a whole new level by working with Jaguar Land Rover in its ‘Waste To Wave’ project.

They are working with Jaguar Land Rover to recycle plastic foam from early vehicle design models to give them a second life in the form of surfboards. Lucy Campbell was invited to get behind the wheel of a Discovery Sport before putting the concept through its paces at Whiterocks Beach, Northern Ireland.
