Independent supermarket takes the lead to support struggling dairy farmers

A family run independent supermarket is leading the way in offering practical support to dairy farmers struggling during the current crisis.

Emerson’s Supermarket in Armagh will donate 10p to Rural Support for every two litres of Dale Farm milk bought in store. The move has been welcomed by Ian Marshall, President of the Ulster Farmers’ Union and by Jude McCann from Cookstown based Rural Support which offers a support service to farming families. Harper Adams University in Ireland announces collaboration with Markethill High School
